After a Strategic Board led review of this burgeoning telecommunications company, Creating Careers were approached to fill two newly created Executive Roles – Chief Financial Officer and Head of HR. Both roles required the strongest technical capability and proven abilities to structure and deliver significant change through both direct and, in many cases, indirect influence over a large geographically separated workforce. This business, required these two new leaders to join the Senior Leadership Team to orchestrate and implement a new platform to capture significant market growth.

Creating Careers assessed that the opportunities of the Strategic Plan were only ever going to be fully captured if these roles not only brought their technical experience and capabilities but delivered a range of fundamentally different skills – to inspire, lead, manage, influence and bring a broad range of people along a significant change journey.

These newly created positions, not only had to look after teams of size, but had to compliment and extend the leadership capability of others within the Senior Leadership Team. Their technical skills have delivered on the company’s significant requirements but it is their Leadership abilities that has raised corporate capacity to a new level. Staff engagement and company purpose have increased together with a significantly stronger financial team able to support strategic initiatives.
